The 21 Series: McConnell Has Sold His Political Soul — Have You?

McConnell has sold his political soul to Trump and thrown the Constitution of the United States under the bus. It is not playing well in Kentucky.

According to a new Public Policy Polling (PPP) survey released Thursday, only 33% of registered Kentucky voters approve of the job McConnell is doing. Additionally 61% think it’s “time for someone new.”

McConnell will not be coming back in 2020. If you continue to follow his leadership (or lack thereof) in the Senate, you will not be returning either.

You and your peers have a critical vote coming up as to the preservation of the Constitution of the United States and the separation-of powers framework. You cannot rely on 4 Republican Senators to send a message of disapproval to Trump. He will not listen.

Trump only understands brute power. When this resolution comes to the floor for the first time, ALL 53 Republican Senators must vote to revoke this over-reach of executive authority so that Trump understands you will over-ride is veto. Do not listen to McConnell who will urge you to stand with Trump and let 4 of you take the fall.

McConnell has sold his political soul to the devil and will not be back in 2020. If you stand with him, you will not return either.
